About the course
This course has been given for the past 25 years to Radiation Oncology residents preparing for the ABR Radiation Oncology Physics exam. Many residents have commented over the years that it is best resource available for preparing for this exam.
So why does this course exist?
This course began with my frustration of not having a single source of information to study for my ABR Medical Physics exam. Studying required numerous textbooks, each with different notation used for the same concepts. After I passed the exam, I was approached by a Rad Onc resident about the possibility of delivering a course to residents taking the ABR Rad Onc Physics exam. So I spent the entire summer that year creating the course that has served as the skeleton of my review course. The content is updated every year to keep the content up to date. This course is not a replacement for the standard didactic lectures traditionally given to Rad Onc residents, but is very useful to reinforce concepts for this exam.
